Adopt a vineyard Project for the preservation of the territory |

The Bosco delle Terrecotte B&B is dipped among historical vineyards of striking beauty. The territory is nevertheless bitter and impervious and does not allow mechanical cultivation. The majority of the work is still done by hand by aged people. The vineyard dates back to XVIII century and is composed by native tendrils, such as bourgnin , tenturiè , pelaverga , lavaren-avarengo and plassa; the annual average production is 800- 1000 liters only and in uninterrupted decline, because aged people cannot make it anymore. The wine produced has got an intense colour and a strong taste and we are looking for friends from all over the world that can appreciate it and wish to help us to support a project for the preservation of the territory, adopting the vineyard. Our idea is that of continuing this ancient work, recovering the deserted vineyards, re-building dry-stone walls, setting up backing poles and fertilizing impoverished ground. If you adopt our vineyard, you will get 10 liters of wine for each subscription fee of 100 euros (wine can be collected directly at the B&B or sent by ordinary mail with the addition of postal expenses) and you can participate to the life of the vineyard, from pruning to setting of rows, until to vintage and wine production. In addition, you will have a higt discount on two-night stay at the B&B and a 30% for additional days. To begin this project, we need at least 100 subscriptions as soon as possible: winter is soon coming and we have to plan all the job that should be done, so please help us to spread our initiative.
